The Mesquite Church of Christ exists to bring “the Good News” of Jesus Christ and its message of hope that is found only in the Word of God. The Bible is our guide and from it His Word is preached. You will not find a lot of talk about the political scene nor do we chase after issues. What we are about here is the soul-saving Word of God.
You and your family are invited to come and join us for Bible Class at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday morning. Study of the Bible will help meet the needs in life; but it also helps you know what you need after this life! At 10:00 a.m. the worship service will involve singing, praying, the Lord’s Supper, and a teaching lesson from God’s Word. We also return at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday nights for further study and worship. On Wednesday, we meet again at 6:00 pm for a meal together, then for Bible study and fellowship at 7:00 p.m.
From the moment you drive into our parking lot you will find Mesquite Church of Christ to be a welcoming place. Our smiling greeters will welcome you at our doors. Inside our fellowship hall, you will be greeted with the smell of coffee and snacks. If you have children, you will also notice our Children's Security Check-In Desk in the lobby area of our fellowship hall. We want your children to be safe so we have you register them at the computers. You'll receive a printed badge for each child with a matching number so that only you can pick up your kids following the service.
At Mesquite Church of Christ, you will find people - in other words, people just like you. It is not about a building, a place, or an organization; our church is about people! Some words that describe the people at Mesquite Church of Christ are friendly, warm, open, accessible, and loving. Come as you are, and be yourself! Our people are eager to get to know you. Many of us are your neighbors. We love each other and we will love you as well.
Each week we will present topical messages or series from the Bible that will easily apply to your life. We want you to walk out of Mesquite Church of Christ with a greater understanding of God's plan for your life and how you can practically live that out. If you are just checking out what Christianity is all about, you will easily understand what we are talking about. If you've been a follower of Jesus for years, plan to be challenged in your faith.
Many of us wish we had the opportunity to make a fresh start, to discover a place where we are accepted for who we are and can grow into who we want to be. Perhaps you went to church in the past and have gotten out of the habit. Or, maybe you have never been to a church at all. Wherever you find yourself in your journey, Mesquite Church of Christ is ready to help you make that fresh start.
