Join us as for a four part series on Sunday mornings titled God Always Keeps His Promises.  We will begin October 22, 2017 and go through November 12th.

As we enter into the Holiday Season, so many around us need to be assured of God’s promises to us: the promise of His presence, the promise of His guidance, the promise of His redemption and the promise of His return. Bible study for all ages begins at 9AM, worship with "His Kids" and communion follows at 10AM. Invite your family, friends and neighbors - you'll be glad you did!

On our very first Sunday morning we received not one, not two but THREE boxes of books and countless other donations that have followed throughout the week! It can easily be said that we have had the BEST start ever and with that comes great hope for the BEST and most successful drive EVER! Every year we have managed to exceed the number of books given from the previous year and we hope and pray this year will continue in that pattern. Here is a reminder of where we started and where we've been . . .

JTTTB's 2014 - 2006 books
JTTTB's 2015 - 3118 books
JTTTB's 2016 - 7270 books

Our goal this year is to collect 10,000 children's books and through this community outreach be in a position to bless Children's Medical Center (now Children's Health) of Dallas, Cook's Children's Hospital of Fort Worth, Nexus Women's Recovery Center and with your coveted prayers we are hoping to find a special way to serve the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston and Southeast Texas. We were able to provide a generous donation of books to Louisiana last year during their flood recovery and we believe we will have that same opportunity in Houston and even Florida.

It is our collective desire with every book that is donated to show the kindness and love of Christ to those in need. We've come a long way in a short time and we feel and see God's hand in the many ways this ministry has grown and is being blessed. June, like many of you and your loved ones, was drawn to this church family because of your generosity and outpouring to our community and our desire is to be a rich part of that continued legacy.

If you are on Facebook, please "like" and "follow" our June Taylor Tie That Binds Children's Book Drive page to see almost daily updates, familiar faces and lots of books during this month of September and following. Thank you HUGELY for what you've done in the past and in advance for what we know you will help us do this year. Your encouragement, support and donations are all deeply appreciated.

To build a house, we need a design and a blueprint from an architect. We want the design to be both beautiful and comfortable, a house that fulfills our dreams. To build a beautiful, satisfying marriage to fill that house we also need a wise designers’ plan.” Join team-teachers Devin LaBay and Michael Van Ness as we take a closer look at “God’s Design For Intimacy”.  This marriage class is intended for anyone who is planning to be married, currently married, formerly married or is interested in the concept of marriage.

Moses is dead, and 2.5 million people are looking to you to lead them. That’s what Joshua faced as he took the reins of leadership. Like everyone else, he knew the day would come when Moses would be no more. He even knew that the mantle of leadership would fall to him, but even so, how could he possibly be prepared for this? “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid – never will I leave you, never will I forsake you” the Lord said to him. As strong and comforting as those words had to be, there was still a glimmer of human doubt. Joshua would need to lean heavily upon those words to find the faith, strength, courage and leadership he would need to guide these people.

Join us at 10AM Sundays starting June 4th, 2017 for this new sermon series from Joshua.  You can listen to sermons that have already been given on our Sermons page.

Would you or someone you  know like to know more about the Bible?  We are studying Mike Armour’s book, A Newcomer’s Guide to the Bible each week on Tuesday evenings at 7pm in the Fishbowl classroom.  Child care will be provided at no charge.

This study is designed for those who don’t have extensive knowledge or experience with the Bible.  If you have a friend, neighbor or family member that would like to be a part of this class, you certainly are invited to join in the study.  The class is very informal and there is no cost.  The book and workbook will be free.  Contact David Belt for more information and to sign up.  Please share this with friends and family!
